Hayley Sanders BSc(hons)

Registered Nutritional Therapist with BANT and CNHC, based in Prestwood, Buckinghamshire

After graduating with a degree in Psychology BSc (Hons) I worked and travelled for many years for a large multi national company, managing globally distributed teams and dealing with major customer accounts. However, realising that my interest and passion for food and good health was not being fulfilled within a corporate environment I decided it was time for a major career change. My decision to further explore about how food can be our ‘medicine’ was made even more relevant after my husband was diagnosed 15 years ago with Rheumatoid Arthritis. The dietary changes he has made have led to a significant positive improvement in his symptoms and quality of life. Additionally, being a busy mother of two, I also came to realise the importance of a good and balanced diet for my children in order to maintain their health and energy levels.

Therefore I made the change and studied for four years with the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London and qualified with a foundation degree in Nutritional Therapy using the functional medicine approach. This approach uses science to treat individuals as a whole, looking at all the body and its complex, inter-related processes. I am a full member of The British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT) and The Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I am committed to maintain and further my education and attend seminars and conferences to ensure I am uptodate with the latest research and practices.

My clinic is based at the Prestwood Natural Health Centre in Buckinghamshire. Here I offer face-to-face consultations that can be booked by calling 01494 864700. I also offer virtual consultations via Zoom or Phone Call. These can be booked by calling 07802 450598.

"Hayley is an expert in this field, and has helped both my mum's and son's as well as my own complex digestive issues. She is fab."

"Hayley has been hugely instrumental in getting my gut back into health by diagnosing and treating an intolerance I was trying to ignore. Her attention to detail and drive was apparent in every session."

"I can't thank Hayley enough! After the shock of finding out I was pre-diabetic, we worked together for three months on diet and lifestyle changes and now this has been reversed. Thank you so much."
