Menopause

Generally menopause occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55, although this can vary. The menopause happens in three phases; peri-menopuase when periods tend to become lighter, this is followed by the menopause, when the ovarian function declines and periods stop. The last phase is the post menopause which begins twelve months after your last period. Many symptoms can occur during these three phases such as, hot flushes, anxiety, thinning hair, insomnia and many emotional ups and downs. However with dietary and lifestyle help these symptoms may be minimised. To find out more please contact me.
